TokenWay: One Bridge to Digital Capital Markets
“Capital markets are going digital,” says Guillermo Alda, CEO and co-founder of TokenWay. In the last 18 months, J.P. Morgan has moved $300 billion of tokenised securities onto blockchain infrastructure, while BlackRock has moved €2.5 billion. HSBC, Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas are already live in production. Europe now has 16 regulated venues for digital securities, with more than €12 billion issued on them. The challenge is access. Each venue, in each country, still requires its own integration.

Vision

TokenWay believes issuing and trading securities should be cheaper, faster and available around the clock – not limited to office hours. Issuing a bond should not cost 10 to 15 percent in fees, and settlement should not take days.

Gamechanger

DLTBridge gives banks and financial institutions access to all regulated digital securities venues in Europe through a single API. Instead of years of venue-by-venue integration, it takes 30 days. Issuance fees drop from 10–15% to 2–3%, settlement moves from T+2 to instant, and trading becomes possible 24/7 instead of 9 to 5.

Who is it for?

Banks and regulated financial institutions across Europe that want to offer digital securities without building and maintaining separate technical and compliance integrations for every venue.

What has worked so far?

TokenWay has a signed pilot for €200 million in corporate digital equity – the largest DLT pilot in Europe to date. It is also preparing a world-first EU municipal bonds programme with a global payments partner. The company goes live in Q3, with more than €1 billion in issuer demand already secured through signed LOIs from blue-chip companies. TokenWay operates under the Czech Fintech Sandbox and is in discussions with banks in Italy and the Czech Republic.
TokenWay is looking for a banking partner for its first pilot issuance and investors for its pre-seed round. If you believe capital markets are going digital, get in touch.
