KnowIT: AI transformation that works in practice

Companies hear about AI everywhere. But most training still stops at theory – workshops that leave teams without a clear next step, or audits that end up as slide decks in a drawer. The result? Employees return to old habits, and the AI initiative quietly fades before it creates any real business impact.

Vision

KnowIT CZ wants to change how companies approach AI. Not as a trend to tick off, but as a practical tool that can be safe, measurable and genuinely useful. The team believes that what many organisations are missing is the combination of academic rigour, technical depth and hands-on software development experience.

Gamechanger

KnowIT CZ was born at the Faculty of Information Technology in Brno. Its founders decided that “those who cannot, teach” was not going to be their motto – so instead of staying in academia, they took their expertise directly into the commercial world. Today, they help organisations move from outdated ways of working to confident and effective use of AI. Their process starts with understanding each company’s specific environment, then moves through workshops, consulting, mentoring and technical audits all the way to direct tool implementation. Everything under one roof. With a team that understands both the technology and the people who are expected to use it.

Who is it for?

For companies that want to adopt AI safely, meaningfully and with real impact – without the unnecessary hype around the technology. And for AI-savvy trainers and consultants who want to share what they know.

What has worked so far?

In the past year, KnowIT CZ has tripled in size. The team now counts 10 lecturers and consultants. They are preparing to expand into the Slovak market and are broadening their focus beyond IT into non-IT industries. Jiří Koudelka believes that in almost every company, there is a place where AI can simplify work, save time or make processes clearer.
